The Lawrence County Amateur Radio Club is a general service Amateur Radio club that meets the first Monday of each month at the Walnut Ridge Airport across from the parachute Inn at 7PM. Some of our club functions are as follows:

  • We provide Amateur Radio testing upon request. (requires 72 Hours In Advanced notice)

  • Our Club also provides Emergency communication when need to the Lawrence County Office of Emergency services as well as providing reports to the National Weather Service In Memphis, TN. and Little Rock AR. provided by our trained Sky warn Spotters.

  • We hold Spring and Fall Picnics at the Lake Charles State Park including a cookout and fun and games for all and a station to operate on site.

  • Each Christmas we hold a club get together at one of of our area Restaurants. Member Families are invited

Everyone is welcome at our meetings, and it is not necessary to live in Lawrence County or to be a club member. Our Dues are $18.00 for an individual membership and $21.00 per couple. Our club meetings are held in a relaxed state, we prefer this format as opposed to a meeting following the Roberts rules of order.
