The Lawrence County Amateur
Radio Club is a general service Amateur Radio club that meets the first
Monday of each month at the Walnut Ridge Airport across from the
parachute Inn at 7PM. Some of
our club functions are as follows:

We provide Amateur Radio
testing upon request. (requires 72 Hours In Advanced notice)

Our Club also provides
Emergency communication when need to the Lawrence County Office of
Emergency services as well as providing reports to the National
Weather Service In Memphis, TN. and Little Rock AR. provided by our
trained Sky warn Spotters.

We hold Spring and Fall
Picnics at the Lake Charles State Park including a cookout and fun and
games for all and a station to operate on site.

Each
Christmas we hold a club get together at one of of our area
Restaurants. Member Families are invited
Everyone is welcome at our
meetings, and it is not necessary to live in Lawrence County or to be a
club member. Our Dues are $18.00 for an individual membership and $21.00
per couple. Our club meetings are held in a relaxed state, we prefer
this format as opposed to a meeting following the Roberts rules of
order.
